Dr Anna Somerville

Dr Anna Somerville is from Ireland and completed her medical degree at Queens University Belfast in 2015.  She previously lived in Brisbane and has had five years of experience working in busy emergency departments both in Brisbane, rural QLD and NSW before moving back to Belfast to complete her GP training.

As part of her GP training in the UK she worked in Acute Medicine, Paediatrics and Psychiatry whilst also completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health through Queen’s University Belfast.  Dr Somerville enjoys looking after families and patients of every age.

Outside of medicine Dr Somerville enjoys travelling and exploring new places and is excited about exploring more of Victoria.  She also has a love for music and plays the harp and piano.

She aims to provide a welcoming supportive environment where her patients feel comfortable, respected and confident in her care
